Polo is a young male yellow Labrador Retriever. For his young age he is an extremely well behaved, well mannered pup with enormous potential.

This young man found his way into a local shelter through, what I believe to be, no fault of his own. He is a very healthy, extremely well socialized, friendly, playful young Lab who really just needs some fine tuning of his behaviors to make him the textbook version of a true Labrador Retriever.

Polo is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, adores children, loves people and is incredibly respective and submissive to all other dogs (all breeds, all ages & all sizes). He loves stuffed dog toys and is non-destructive of them (except for those pesky manufacturers tags that simply MUST be removed). He also very fond of deer/elk antlers for chewing. He is tolerant of getting a bath (in the driveway with a garden hose) as well as having his nails filed with a Dremel tool.

He needs regular exercise including at least one daily walk (preferably in the morning). He will benefit from consistent training with equally consistent commands. Once he learns what items are approved/unapproved for him to have, you will realize and enjoy the unbounded, unconditional love and admiration of a dog that highlights the fabulous joy of owning a Labrador Retriever and what makes the Labrador Retriever America's most popular dog breed for several consecutive years.
