Prada is a dainty little gal with a big, loving personality. When she is moving, her tail is wagging. She has playful puppy energy, but also settles down quickly. She crates well and is “accident-free". Prada gets along well with the other dogs in the home; she plays with them, wrestles with them, and snuggles with them. Her favorite place, however, is on the couch snuggling next to her human. She is very affectionate and will curl up on your lap to get attention. She is a smart gal, has learned "sit","on your mat" (it is fun to watch her wiggle and squirm with excitement because she knows she has to stay on the mat while her food is being put in her bowl), and walks wonderfully on a leash. As much as she loves it here, Prada told me she is ready for a forever home of her own...hopefully one with a furry playmate. Only approved adopters may meet our dogs outside of a public event.
The mission of Texas Sporting Breed Rescue, Inc. (TSBR) is to provide for the welfare, shelter and adoption of lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and puppies, specifically; The American Kennel Club (AKC) defined sporting group breeds - Retrievers, Setters, Pointers, Spaniels, Vizlas, Weimaraners, and Spinone Italianos; to promote the responsible care of companion animals, to actively promote spaying and neutering as the most humane means of animal control; to support heartworm education and treatment; and to provide training and education to the public related to topics such as: animal welfare, responsible dog ownership and breed information.
