Hi, my name is Navan and I am a 5 month old Weimeraner. Bottom line is if you are looking for a "lover", I'm your guy. I love being around humans and other dogs. I am pretty handy in the kitchen! I like to take naps in the game room, and the bedroom. I also like to take my daily nap in the office, while my foster mom works on her computer a lot.

I have learned how to use a doggie door. For a while, I only came in through the doggie door when my foster mom let me play in the yard. Just this weekend, I figured out that I can go "out" the doggie door and potty in the grass. My foster mom gets so excited when I do this, that I just keep on doing it. I think this will make her love me even more!!!

I am not too crazy about this crate thing she puts me in at night to sleep. I really want to sleep in the bed, but she tells me I can't get up there. I sometimes bark a little at first, but have realized that barking does not make her come back. So I just curl up and sleep through the night.

I like to wake up around 7am, and I am ready to go. I run around the house and go potty through the dog door, and then it is time to eat. I am a growing boy and I know exactly where my foster mom keeps the food. I will stand in front of the door until she opens it, just in case she forgets.

I like going for walks on my leash and am learning my basic manners. I know how to sit, but my mom won't let me jump up to get my snack. Wow, it is hard for me to sit when I know a yummy snack is coming, but again, if I wait, this seems to make her happy. I get along well with my foster brother and sister, and I watch them a lot to understand how I fit in here at my foster home.

So, that is enough about me. I would love to hear about you. I am eagerly awaiting to find out where my permanent home will be. My foster mom, tells me how sweet I am and that I will be a great puppy for a new family.
