Sophie B is a gorgeous and sweet chocolate chunk of a Lab girl. At 3 she is just entering that magical Labrador stage where they are finishing out their all go, adventure stage and coming into their happy to hang around stage. Sophie has been loved her whole life and hasn’t wanted for anything. An unfortunate human health crises has left her needing someone to pick up where her beloved person had to leave off, who will love her for the rest of her years. Sophie is active and playful and like most Labs, loves attention. She could use some brushing up on her skills and training and she hopes her new people will love that work as much as she does. We require an application and home visit prior to being considered for adoption. TSBR is a foster based rescue program and does not have a shelter or facility. Only approved adopters may meet our dogs outside of a public event.

(TSBR) is to provide for the welfare, shelter and adoption of lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and puppies, specifically; The American Kennel Club (AKC) defined sporting group breeds - Retrievers, Setters, Pointers, Spaniels, Vizlas, Weimaraners, and Spinone Italianos; to promote the responsible care of companion animals, to actively promote spaying and neutering as the most humane means of animal control; to support heartworm education and treatment; and to provide training and education to the public related to topics such as: animal welfare, responsible dog ownership and breed information.
