About Sun King:

-He responds best to "Sunny." And Sunny he is! He's such a cheerful and happy boy!

-He loves his crate when it's stuffed with blankets and pillows (he's a burrower)!

-He loves to be outdoors and loves leaves, sticks, and anything "nature".

-He's very playful and energetic.

-He's a "people-dog" (at the dog park he approaches the dog owners more than the dogs).

-He gets along with all dogs. And if a dog doesn't like him, he knows to leave them alone. He's definitely not the "alpha" type.

-He doesn't know how he feels about swimming yet. He didn't seem too crazy about it.

-He walks great on the leash; he will stay right at your side.

-He makes a GREAT running partner!

-Once he's FINALLY worn out from swimming, chasing tennis balls/frisbees, etc., he loves to cuddle and fall asleep with you.

-He's a master of sloppy kisses and showing lots of love.

-He loves burrowing himself under a mountain of toys.

-He knows how to sit and stay, and we're working on lay down, "off," and other commands.

-He would probably not be best for families with small children, because he is a bit mouthy and he doesn't realize how big and strong he is.
