Fiona and Ruby

It was one year ago today (10/27/15) that we adopted Ruby (Jo Dee) and Fiona (Martina). We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful work you do. We love the girls so much! They have nestled in to our home and our hearts so well it is hard to imagine what life was like without them.

Ruby is quite the Diva. Her favorite person is Phil, my husband, but she will take belly rubs from everyone and is pretty generous with kisses as well. She is our Velcro dog who stays as close to our legs and laps as she can. She loves to romp and play in the backyard with her sister, and her favorite toy is a red rubber Kong bone.

Fiona is our huntress. She sings to the squirrels every day trying to figure out how she can climb our trees. One squirrel was a little careless and found its way into Fiona's mouth (as you can see). Fiona was so proud of her catch she paraded it around the yard! She is a Mama's girl who loves to snuggle at night.

Murphy, our setter, has accepted the girls into his pack and has embraced his inner alpha. The girls give him kisses and he occasionally will give one back. They love taking walks together and walk next to each other in a pack.

We feel so blessed to have our wonderful pups!

Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you all at the wrapping days at Barnes and Noble and Cabela's again this year!

Baxter

Baxter (aka "Mika") at the lake. 

He just turned 1 last weekend - we can't believe we have had this AMAZING dog in our lives for only 6 months. He is SO loved and loves us SO much that we feel truly blessed. Thank you again for choosing us to be his parents - he is more than we ever expected and he is loved more than any dog on this earth.

You are all amazing and I brag on your rescue group CONSTANTLY - especially on days like today, at a festival, where I couldn't eat because everyone was taking pictures with him and petting him - I will lose a meal any day to share Baxter's love and tell people the beauty of adopting. :)
