Sweet Abby fits the breed description "Loyal and affectionate...craves human companionship and bonds closely with its people."

Abby aka "Mamma Fuzzy" is a wonderful girl - she is always happy, is great in the house, is eager to please, loves to play fetch, and just wants someone to love and give her the good life!

The perfect home for Abby would have mostly female humans, or kind, not overly dominant males. While she is good with all dogs and LOVES to play, due to her breed and drives she is best suited for large dogs. Her foster home currently has 6 large dogs and she does perfect with all of them!

Abby is a quite the toy hoarder and over bonds with her humans quickly! Abby is looking for a home that will love her but also lead her and not encourage obsessive closeness.

Abby has a low thyroid, not uncommon in female dogs of this breed, and it is easily regulated with a relatively inexpensive medication taken daily. This medication has helped her slim down to a fabulous physique, and helped her behavior as well.

If you are interested in Abby, she really is an amazing dog...ask to be matched with her and talk more about her and her special needs with her foster home today!
